Bliss balls

These little bliss balls of goodness make the perfect snack or breakfast on the go!

Serves

10 -15

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 6 mejool dates
  • 1 cups of shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup crushed nuts of your choice
  • 1/2 cup 90% dark chocolate
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Method for bliss balls

Pour boiling water into the dates and set aside for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, combine crushed nuts, oats, cinnamon, chocolate and salt.

Blend the date mixture and add into the bowl with the other ingredients- stir until well combined.

Roll the mixture into small ‘2 bite’ sized balls and then roll in coconut.

Note

These delicious bliss balls will store for 4 days in an air right container in the fridge or can be frozen for up to a month.
