Vegemite & Melted Cheese on Toast

Quick, simple, delicious, and guaranteed to burn the roof of your mouth 🙂

As many as you want.

Ingredients

  • Fresh multigrain bread
  • Lurpak butter
  • Vegemite
  • Cheddar or Tasty cheese

Method

  1. Cook the bread in a toaster to your liking
  2. Cut 1.5 slices of cheese for each piece of bread
  3. Spread a generous amount of butter on each slice
  4. Spread your preferred helping of vegemite on each slice
  5. Pop the cheese on top
  6. Put in the microwave for ~30 seconds, or until cheese starts to melt
  7. Try and hold back from eating straight away

Note

Be careful not to overcook in the microwave. Every second in the microwave makes the bread softer, so there is a fine balance between just right and too soggy.

Add avocado and/or cherry tomatoes to make things a bit more classy.
